Deep Terajuma Jungle — Pokémon Rejuvenation Temple Guide
Tyluric Temple is the two-storey ruin at the bottom of the Terajuma jungle — and the single most mechanic-heavy area on the island, with a Togepi that needs three specific Pokémon types and a boss whose typing you have to change mid-fight.

What is here
The temple splits into an upper and a lower section, and both hide Pokémon that will not simply appear in the grass. Upstairs, Magby needs Magma Drift before it is reachable, Rowlet comes from the My Dearest Rowlet sidequest after the events at Valor Mountain, and Grookey only shows up on the top left once you have Fly — alongside the Slakoth that were already there. The Ariados carrying a Spinarak is a double battle rather than a normal encounter.
Downstairs is where the temple earns its reputation. Three Woobat drift around the first room and are obtained by bumping into them rather than by battling. Togepi is the real puzzle: you have to bring a Flying, an Electric/Flying and a Ground/Flying Pokémon and show them to the monument at the right end of the magma river, which spawns a boss Kecleon that must be fainted while its typing is Fairy/Flying.
| Landmark | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Temple Outskirts | The approach from Deep Terajuma Jungle, which is the temple's only listed connection. |
| The magma river | Runs through the lower temple. The monument that starts the Togepi puzzle sits at its right end. |
| The monument | Where you show the three Flying-type Pokémon. Doing so spawns the boss Kecleon. |
| The first room (lower) | Where the three Woobat circle. You bump into them rather than encountering them. |
Before you go
- Build the Togepi team before you go down. You need three Pokémon with distinct Flying typings — Flying, Electric/Flying and Ground/Flying — and they have to be in your party, not in the box.
- The Kecleon that spawns from the monument has to be fainted while its typing is Fairy/Flying. Bring something that hits that combination and do not chip it down blindly.
- Grookey and Slakoth share the top-left spot upstairs, and Grookey only appears once you have Fly. If you cleared the temple early and saw only Slakoth, that is the reason to come back.
- Three Woobat in the lower temple's first room are bump encounters, so walk into them deliberately rather than waiting for the grass to shake.
- There are no items and no ordinary trainer battles recorded here — the temple is entirely about the Pokémon listed above, so budget a trip for them and nothing else.
Pokémon that need something other than walking
None of these are ordinary grass encounters. Each has its own condition, and the Togepi one has a battle attached.

| Woobat | Lower temple, first room | Bump into one of the three as they fly around |
| Togepi | Lower temple, magma river monument | Show a Flying, an Electric/Flying and a Ground/Flying Pokémon, then beat the boss Kecleon while it is Fairy/Flying |

Deep Terajuma Jungle FAQ
How do I get Togepi in Tyluric Temple?
Bring a Flying, an Electric/Flying and a Ground/Flying Pokémon to the monument at the right end of the magma river and show them. That spawns a boss Kecleon, which you have to faint while its typing is Fairy/Flying.
How do I get Rowlet in Tyluric Temple?
Through the My Dearest Rowlet sidequest, and only after the events at Valor Mountain. It is Dartreaux's son and it is not a wild encounter.
Why can't I find Grookey in the temple?
Grookey only appears once you have Fly, on the top left of the upper temple, in the same spot as the Slakoth. It will not be there on an early visit.
How do I get Magby?
Magma Drift is required to reach it in the upper temple.
Are there items in Tyluric Temple?
No. The wiki records no item pickups here, and no ordinary trainers either — the temple is entirely about the Pokémon listed above.
