What is here

The pass is a sea area rather than land, connecting north to Route 6 and west to the Mynori Sea, with access to the Terajuma Lighthouses. Surf is required, which is what makes it a mid-game area rather than an early one — and it is the point in the game where the region opens up.

The lighthouse is the landmark worth noting. There is also a sidequest here, A Souvenir for Mom, which is easy to miss because the pass reads as a corridor between two other places.
