The four playthrough pages

Where you are, and which page that means

The four pages are not four chapters of one guide. They answer different questions, and which one you want depends on where you are stuck rather than how far you have got.

Your situation Open What it gives you Best read
You have not chosen a starter yet Starters The full roster with types, stats and where each one becomes available, plus the move tutor that changes what a starter can do later. Before you commit
You are in the first hour Walkthrough A first-hour checklist and the habits that separate a run that stalls from one that does not. Immediately after starting
You cannot work out what a chapter wants Walkthrough Chapter-by-chapter objectives and the roadblocks that stop people, in story order. At the chapter you are on
You keep losing the same gym Gyms & difficulty The leader order, the levels the game expects you to arrive with, and how the difficulty setting tunes the fight. When you are stuck on the fight
Your team carried you early and is falling behind Tier list How the starters are rated once the mid-game arrives, and why crests can move a starter several tiers. Mid-run, not at the start
You want the short version of the starter debate Tier list A ranked opinion with its reasoning and its caveats stated, rather than a data table to interpret yourself. After skimming the roster

Two pairs of pages look like duplicates. They are not.

Two of the four overlap in subject on purpose. If you have landed on the wrong one of a pair, the fix is a single click rather than re-reading.

Pages Same subject, different question Read this one when
Starters and Tier list One establishes what each starter is — typing, stats, when it becomes available, what the tutor adds. The other records what players think of them, ranked, with the reasoning shown. Use the roster to eliminate options and the tier list to break a tie. Neither replaces the other, and the tier list says outright that it is opinion.
Walkthrough and Gyms One follows the story in narrative order. The other follows the battles, and the battle order does not map cleanly onto the chapter order. Use the walkthrough to find out where to go and the gym page to find out what will be waiting when you get there.

How fast each page goes stale

A release does not invalidate all four pages equally. This is what to re-check after an update, and why the pages carry a verification date instead of a permanent claim.

Page What a new release tends to break Re-check it when
Walkthrough Chapter objectives, roadblock solutions, and how long the game takes. Story content is the most volatile thing on the site. Every major release, and after any patch that changes chapter content.
Gyms & difficulty Challenge order, the level the game expects, and leader teams. Level caps have moved between releases, which invalidates advice rather than just dating it. Every major release, before you rely on a level target.
Starters Roster additions and tutor availability. Older entries survive a release far better than newer ones. When a release adds a starter or changes what the tutor offers.
Tier list Community consensus, and any change to crests — a crest can move a starter several tiers at once. When you are reading it as a recommendation rather than as a snapshot of opinion.
Version first, then the guide If a guide contradicts what you are seeing in game, check which release you are on before assuming the guide is wrong. The version page covers what changed between v13.5 and V14.

What this hub does not do

It routes, it explains how the four pages relate, and it says which of them a release is likely to have outdated. It deliberately does not summarise their contents — a hub that restates its own pages competes with them in search results and gives you a second, shallower version of an answer you already have.

About this hub

Which page should I open first?

If you have not started yet, open the route and chapter page. If you are stuck mid-run, the order and difficulty page is usually the faster answer. The team-building page matters most before you commit to a run.

How much do these pages spoil?

They are written for someone already playing, so they reference story beats by chapter number. Each card notes how far into the game its page assumes you have got.

Do these pages assume a particular version?

They are written against the current release and say so. Older releases changed level caps, boss teams and even route naming, so a guide written for an earlier version can be actively wrong.
