What is here

The Move Relearner is the reason most players come back here. She teaches a Pokemon any move its species learns by level-up, plus Egg Moves, in exchange for a Heart Scale. Two conditions matter: she only offers her services after you rescue her by completing the Helper Requests at Kristiline Town, and the special Egg Moves only become available after progressing through Chapter 13 and acquiring HM02.

That rescue dependency is easy to miss. If the Move Relearner's house is empty, the answer is at Kristiline Town, not in Sheridan.

The village is also a full service stop. It has a Gate Plaza with free rest and healing and its own small shop, a Help Plaza in the north-east up the Cherry Blossom Inn, a Day Care Center, and three vendors of its own — Staff, Nadia, and Beth, who is only there in the morning on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The Helper Requests are the side content: The Hidden Library 2, Stolen Cargo!, Trade Me! — which pays 1,920 and a Pancham — Fetch an Item!, and Battle Request 2, which pays 1,600 and a Clobbopus.

The village is Keta's, and the Sheridan Arena, the Spring of Purification and the route up to Carotos Mountain are all reached from it. Its encounters are early-game: Makuhita at 29% and Zigzagoon at 22%, across a 49-row table.
