Cut, Surf, Flash is needed somewhere in this area, not necessarily to enter it — the tables below say where.

What is here

Mirage Woods sits between Route 3 to the south and Mirage Town to the north, and it is one of the more disorienting maps in the region: the paths loop back on each other, and the landmark tree by the entrance is the only reliable reference point. Flash makes it navigable; without it you are walking the same three clearings.

The forest carries two set pieces. The first is a Crobat boss fight that most players meet on the way through to Goldenleaf, and the second is a Zoroark side quest that opens up later and sends you back here. Mirage Cave is also inside the woods, but access is gated behind Cut or a Golden Axe.

LandmarkWhat it is for
Mirage CaveInside the woods. Reaching it needs Cut or a Golden Axe — the wiki states the gate explicitly.
Mirage Town gateThe northern exit. Mirage Town is where the route's reward is collected after the boss.
The Mirage TreeThe landmark tree at the entrance. Creators use it as the reference point for navigating the looping paths.
Route 3The southern exit, and the route most players come in from.

Mirage Woods FAQ

Where is Mirage Woods in Pokémon Rejuvenation?

On Floria Island, between Route 3 to the south and Mirage Town to the north. Entering from Route 3 is the usual approach.

What do I need to explore Mirage Woods?

Cut, Surf and Flash are the field moves recorded for the area. Flash is the one that matters most day to day — it is what makes the looping paths readable. Cut or a Golden Axe is needed specifically for Mirage Cave.

Is there a boss in Mirage Woods?

Yes — a Crobat boss fight. It is the area's difficulty spike and most players meet it on the way north toward Mirage Town.

What is the Zoroark quest in Mirage Woods?

A side quest that runs through these woods and opens up later in the game rather than on your first pass. It is one of the reasons to come back rather than treating the area as finished once you reach Mirage Town.

What can I catch in Mirage Woods?

Fourteen species are recorded for the woods. Levels and encounter rates are in the table above.
