Goldenwood Cave — Pokémon Rejuvenation Cave Guide
Goldenwood Cave is the cave under Goldenwood Forest on Floria Island, reached from Goldenwood Park — an early-game cave that is mostly about its two floors and one recurring NPC.

How to get there
Where this area leads:
| Direction | Leads to |
|---|---|
| North | Goldenwood Grove |
| South | Goldenwood Forest / Goldenwood Park |
Rock Smash, Surf is needed somewhere in this area, not necessarily to enter it — the tables below say where.
What is here
It sits between Goldenwood Grove to the north and Goldenwood Forest and Goldenwood Park to the south, and needs only Rock Smash and Surf. That is the lightest field-move requirement of any cave on the site, which is why it is a first-act area.
The level band says the same thing. The encounters are levels 9 to 12 — Geodude at 44%, Noibat at 35% and Woobat at 17% — the lowest-level cave table on the site.
Mars, of the Culvier Clan, is the reason to do more than pass through: she hands over a Great Ball and Star Shard 1 on the 1F Entrance.
There is also a trainer here. Satella, a Yukata Girl, has separate Story and Classic parties — Medicham, Hariyama and Oricorio at 44-45 in Story, and a four-Pokemon Classic team at 41-42 with a Rapidash added.
Fourteen recorded pickups are split across three areas: the 1F Entrance, the 1F Exit and B1F. B1F holds the Revive, the Big Root and a Zygarde Cell, and the one item worth noting on the surface is a Nugget to the left of the first bridge.
| Landmark | What it is for |
|---|---|
| 1F Entrance | Where Mars is, and where the Great Ball and Star Shard 1 come from. Also carries most of the hidden items: two TinyMushrooms, a Red Shard, a Blue Shard and a Potion. |
| 1F Exit | Holds a hidden PP Up in the top-middle rock. |
| B1F | The Revive, the Big Root and a Zygarde Cell, past the pond and the smashable rocks. |
| Goldenwood Grove | North. |
| Goldenwood Forest and Goldenwood Park | South. |
Before you go
- The cave's encounters are levels 9-12, so it is worth clearing early rather than returning to. Geodude at 44% is the commonest thing here.
- Mars gives a Great Ball and Star Shard 1 on the 1F Entrance. Both are one-off, so talk to her rather than walking past.
- Most of the surface items are hidden behind rocks, flowers patches and the medium tree. Bring the Itemfinder.
- Satella's Classic team is a four-Pokemon fight rather than a three-Pokemon one, with a Rapidash replacing nothing — it is a straight addition.
