What this area is

Gearen Alleyways are found in East Gearen City. There are four alleyways. Three of them are accessed through different passageways in the city; amongst them, the westernmost passageway is unlocked only after battling against Madelis in Gearen Laboratory. This passageway leads to an otherwise inaccessible part of abandoned Sewers, that has an exit to the Alleyway. The last one, Venam's Graveyard, is accessed through East Gearen Gym secret exit. This secret exit is unlocked after winning the first league badge. To power up the warper in backstage, you have to talk to trainers in he Gym to learn a code that the player has to input on the dancefloor but walking on tiles with a number on them. The code to use is 2332-4332.

What is here

There are four alleyways. Three are reached through different passageways in the city, and the westernmost of those is unlocked only after battling Madelis in Gearen Laboratory. That one leads to a section of the abandoned sewers that cannot be reached any other way, and the sewers exit back into the alleyway.

The fourth is different in kind: Venam's Graveyard, reached through the secret exit of East Gearen Gym. That exit is unlocked after winning the first league badge, and it is behind a tile puzzle rather than a door.

The puzzle is worth writing down. To power the warper backstage you have to talk to the trainers in the gym to learn a code, then walk it on the dancefloor tiles. The code is 2332-4332.

Two items here are Pokemon rather than objects. A Seviper Egg sits on the ground in Venam's Graveyard, and in the Spidops Nest a Ruthless Spidops will fight you, rewarding a Tarountula when beaten.

Thirteen recorded pickups are spread across the alleyways and the graveyard, and only one of them is in the open — everything else is hidden behind dumpsters, flowers and grass patches. There are two Zygarde Cells, one up from the Female Clerk on the left and one at the top right of the graveyard.

Gearen Alleyway FAQ

How many alleyways are in Gearen Alleyway?

Four. Three are reached through passages in East Gearen City and one — Venam's Graveyard — through the East Gearen Gym secret exit.

What is the warper code for the East Gearen Gym?

2332-4332. Learn it from the trainers inside the gym, then walk it on the dancefloor tiles; it is entered by stepping on numbered tiles, not typed.

How do I get the Tarountula in Gearen Alleyway?

Beat the Ruthless Spidops in the Spidops Nest. The Tarountula is the reward for winning that fight.
