Route 9 — Pokémon Rejuvenation Route Guide
Route 9 is the Terrial Island route between Grand Dream City and the Rose Theatre, and most of what is on it is inside the Forlorned Cavern rather than on the road above it.

What is here
The route runs north from Grand Dream City toward the Rose Theatre and Route 10, and it carries a train station that connects back to Grand Dream Stadium and Grand Dream City — which makes it a shuttle point between the Terrial Island areas rather than just a road. Surf is the field move the wiki records.
Forlorned Cavern is inside the route, not beside it, and it has three separate entrances the item directions refer to: a B1 Shore Entrance, a 1F West Entrance and a 2F exit. Walking Route 9 end to end without noticing them is easy, and it is also the difference between finding four items and finding twelve.
The item list splits between the two halves. On the surface there is a Resist Wing between the medium red trees at the end of the train tracks, a Big Mushroom behind the big red tree to the left of the L-shaped fallen leaves, a Carbos on the light green grass patch below the left pond, and a Calcium in the sand to the right of the first left bamboo stalk.
In the cavern there is more: TM Fire down the 2F exit, a hidden Honey inside the yellow big tree left of that exit, a Muscle Wing on the big rock to the right of the path up from the 1F West exit, and two Zygarde Cells — one down the B1 Shore Entrance and one beside the Hiker Trainer left of the 1F West Entrance, the second of which is day-only.
Two pickups are not items on the ground. Exp. Candy L comes from the Breeder Trainer to the right of the train and is repeatable, and TM Flying comes from Damien once you are back from Sashila Village — so it is a return trip rather than a first-visit find.
| Landmark | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Forlorned Cavern | Inside the route rather than beside it, with three entrances: a B1 Shore Entrance, a 1F West Entrance and a 2F exit. Most of the route's items and both of its Zygarde Cells are in here. |
| Train Station | Connects to Grand Dream Stadium and Grand Dream City, which makes the route a shortcut between Terrial Island areas. |
| The Breeder Trainer right of the train | Gives Exp. Candy L repeatably. |
| Damien | Gives TM Flying once you have been to Sashila Village and returned. |
| The two NPCs talking about Neverwinter | On the path to the Rose Theatre; the Swift Wing is in the dig-yellow tree below them. |
| Rose Theatre and Route 10 | North of the route. |
| Grand Dream City | South, and the route's other end. |
Before you go
- Find the cavern entrances before writing the route off. Three of them exist — B1 Shore, 1F West and the 2F exit — and between them they hold TM Fire, a Honey, a Muscle Wing and both Zygarde Cells.
- TM Flying is not on the ground. It comes from Damien after you have been to Sashila Village and come back, so it cannot be collected on a first pass.
- Exp. Candy L from the Breeder right of the train is repeatable. That makes Route 9 a levelling stop rather than a one-off.
- The Zygarde Cell beside the Hiker Trainer left of the 1F West Entrance only appears during the day. The second one, down the B1 Shore Entrance, has no such restriction.
