Darchlight Village is the small settlement on the southern edge of the Darchlight Woods, on Terrial Island — a heal point and a gateway rather than a destination, with the Alter estate manor on the rise above it.

What is here
The village sits between Route 8 to the west and the Darchlight Woods to the east, with the manor reached from the village itself. Almost everything the story does around here happens in the woods, in the caves underneath them or in the manor — the village is where you pass through, heal and come back.
The encounter table is the reason to stop and look. The Aevian Shroomish line spawns in the village grass — Aevian Shroomish at 51% and its evolution Aevian Breloom at 5% — and both are Grass/Electric, a typing the line does not have anywhere else. The grass levels run 42 to 55.
The third grass slot is the dark slot, and it is worth reading the rates carefully: Murkrow appears at 41% there while the first two slots both list 0%. The other two slots will never produce it, however long you walk.
The water is the highest-level content here. Surf runs 55-60 and the Super Rod 65-66, well above the grass encounters, so the fishing table is something to come back for rather than something to clear on your first pass.

Before you go
- The wiki records no item pickups inside the village at all, so there is nothing to sweep for on the ground here — the hidden items in this section are in the woods.
- If you want Murkrow, note that only the third grass slot can produce it (41%). Walking the first two slots is wasted time.
- Surf and a Super Rod open a level 55-66 water table that is above everything in the grass. If you are passing through early, mark it and come back.
- The Aevian Shroomish line is Grass/Electric. It is worth catching one here rather than trading for it later, because this is its home table.
