1Device needed: the Omni Ring

A Mega Stone is a held item that lets one specific Pokémon Mega Evolve. In Rejuvenation you also need the Omni Ring — the game's universal Mega device — before any stone does anything. Stones are not sold in one shop: they come from sidequests, Help Plaza rewards, reputation milestones, story bosses, trades and a handful of late-game shops, and several exist in both a Paragon and a Renegade version.

The Omni Ring, and the fast way to it The Omni Ring is the key item that enables Mega Evolution. You receive it through the story, or immediately with the omniring password if you would rather not wait. The password is the same one players search for as the “mega ring” — in Rejuvenation the item is called the Omni Ring, and the password list covers how passwords are entered.
Some stones are route-exclusive A number of entries below are marked (Paragon) or (Renegade) — you get that version on that route, and the other route has a different source, usually the Purgatorium shop. If a stone you need is listed for the route you are not on, the NG+ Shayda's Shop is the usual fallback.

Where Mega Stones Come From

The sources fall into five groups, and knowing which group a stone belongs to tells you roughly how far into the game it sits:

Source typeWhat it looks likeTypical timing
Help Plaza rewardsCompleting a Help Quest at a Help Plaza counter — for example the Abomasite and Absolite at Sashila Help Plaza.Whenever you clear that plaza's quest list
Sidequest rewardsMulti-step quests with their own log entries, such as Shipwreck Recovery for the Alcremite.Spread across the game
Reputation and collection milestonesGrand Dream City reputation thresholds, or trading in a specific Pokémon, such as the Aerodactylite at 800 GDC reputation.Mid to late game
Story and boss fightsDropped after a specific fight or found in a room the story opens, such as the Aggronite inside the Axis Factory rift.Locked to story progress
ShopsThe Kingdom of Goomidra shop, the Renegade-only Purgatorium shop, and Shayda's Shop in NG+ content.Late game and post-game

NG+ is the safety net. Shayda's Shop in New Game Plus content sells a large share of the stones that are otherwise locked to one route or one sidequest, which is why a stone can be “Paragon only” in a first playthrough and straightforwardly purchasable later.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I Mega Evolve in Pokemon Rejuvenation?

You need two things: the Omni Ring, which is the key item that enables Mega Evolution, and the matching Mega Stone held by the Pokémon. The Omni Ring comes from the story or from the omniring password; the stones are listed above.

What is the Pokemon Rejuvenation mega ring called?

The Omni Ring. Players often search for a “mega ring”, but the in-game item is the Omni Ring and it activates Mega Evolution for any Pokémon whose stone you hold.

How many Mega Stones are in Pokemon Rejuvenation?

105 stones appear in the game's item data, of which 90 have a documented way to obtain them. 15 are listed as unavailable in the current version.

Why can't I find a specific Mega Stone?

Three common reasons. It may be route-locked, so it only appears on Paragon or only on Renegade with the other route buying it from the Purgatorium shop. It may need a sidequest that has not been started yet. Or it may be one of the stones listed as unavailable above, which cannot be obtained at all in the current build.

Do Mega Stones work on Android builds?

Yes. Mega Evolution is a core battle system, not a mod, so it works identically on the desktop builds and on Kirin and JoiPlay. See the Android setup guide if the mobile build itself is the problem.
