Pokemon Rejuvenation Crests — Full List, Effects & Locations
Every Crest in Pokemon Rejuvenation with its in-game effect and where to find it, plus how Crests work in battle and why they cannot be knocked off. Unofficial fan guide.
Crests at a Glance
A Crest is a held item unique to Rejuvenation. Like a Light Ball or a Thick Club, a Crest is tied to one species and only does anything for that species — but unlike those, a Crest can rewrite how a Pokémon works. Effects range from a flat stat boost, through granting an extra ability, to entirely custom behaviour that has no equivalent in the official games.
How Crests Work in Battle
- They cannot be removed. An active Crest — one held by the Pokémon it belongs to — cannot be taken during battle. Trick and similar moves simply fail.
- Knock Off still deals damage but does not remove the Crest. You lose the item-removal play, not the item.
- There is a battle UI marker. When a Pokémon holding its matching Crest is on the field, an icon shows it, so you can tell at a glance whether the boost is active.
- Stat-swapping Crests swap the calculated stat. A Crest that exchanges two stats — the Magcargo Crest is the standard example — swaps the final number after IVs, EVs and Nature. That means EVs you invested in one stat effectively become EVs in the other. In-battle stat boosts are not swapped with it, so a Harden from a crested Magcargo still raises Defense.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Crest in Pokemon Rejuvenation?
A Crest is a species-locked held item, Rejuvenation's equivalent of a Light Ball or Thick Club. It only works for the one Pokémon it belongs to, and its effect can be a stat boost, an extra ability, or completely custom behaviour. An active Crest cannot be removed in battle.
Can you Knock Off a Crest?
No. Knock Off still deals its damage, but the Crest stays. Trick and similar item-swapping moves fail outright against an active Crest. The only way to change it is to take it off outside battle.
How many Crests are there?
68 are documented on the official wiki, spanning early-game badge doors like the Ariados Crest in the Wispy Ruins through to .Karma Files content and NG+ shop stock.
Where do Crests come from?
Four main sources: sidequest rewards, badge-gated locations such as the Wispy Ruins and Lost Castle, the Kingdom of Goomidra and Purgatorium shops, and New Game Plus content. A few are made in exchange for items rather than found.
Do Crests work on Android builds?
Yes. Crests are part of the base game's battle system, not a mod, so they behave the same on Windows, Mac, Linux and the Kirin and JoiPlay mobile builds.
