Pokemon Rejuvenation V14 shipped on with Chapters 1–16. Since then the team has pushed hotfix builds roughly every few days through July and early August, paused for about four weeks, then resumed in September. The current build is v14.0.24, released on . The official download page still describes the release as "V14 (Chapters 1–16), updated 15/7/2026" because the base package date does not change — patches are applied on top of it.

The in-game updater is the authoritative build check You do not have to track patch numbers yourself. Run the updater from the game, or download the current package from the official download page — whatever it installs is the current build by definition. Everything below is context for what changed, not a substitute for updating.
Back up your save before updating This is the official advice, and it is not boilerplate: two patches in the V14 line had to fix save files that disappeared during an update, and one patch instructed players not to load their save in a specific area at all (see 14.0.18 and 14.0.13 below). Copy your save folder somewhere safe first.

What the Patch Numbers Mean

Rejuvenation uses a V-major.major.patch scheme. In 14.0.24:

Part Means Changes when
14Version 14 — the major releaseA new major release ships (the next one is V15)
0The V14.0 content branchRarely; this is the branch that launched on July 15, 2026
24The hotfix number within that branchEvery bug-fix push — 23 of them so far

So "pokemon rejuvenation 14.0.6" is not a separate release from "14.0.24" — both are V14. 14.0.6 was the build from ; 14.0.24 supersedes it. If you are running anything below 14.0.24, you are on an older hotfix of the same version.

V14 Patch History — Every Hotfix So Far

Newest first. Each entry summarises what the patch actually changed, grouped so you can tell a content update from a crash fix at a glance. Full official notes for every build are linked in the sources below.

What the Patches Have Changed Most

Read end to end, the V14 hotfix line tells you where a brand-new chapter hurts most. Four categories account for almost everything:

Category What it covers Roughly how much of the line
Softlocks and crashes Points where the game becomes unplayable rather than merely wrong — Oblitus Gym, Chrysalis Courtyard, Alamissa Gallery, the Axis Factory, River's End, Distant Past, Sashila Village. Chapter 16 sections dominate. The majority of every patch
Difficulty and balance Chapter 16 Paragon and Renegade fights repeatedly nerfed; ruthless Pokemon shield counts reduced; the final boss adjusted twice; AI scoring tightened against easily abused conditions. Concentrated in 14.0.5–14.0.7 and 14.0.21
Content additions Champions movesets folded into learnsets, regional Pokedex listings, per-save crossover passwords, Chapter 16.3 shop stock, the V15 preview at the end of the Paragon route. Mostly 14.0.21, with smaller additions throughout
Save integrity A completion flag switched off by two consecutive builds and restored in 14.0.9; saves disappearing on the 14.0.13 update; item obtainability for older saves after items were replaced. Four patches, but the ones that cost players the most
Why this matters for older saves Several patches fixed things that had already broken saves rather than preventing the break — the Paragon Chapter 16 flag in 14.0.9, Machampite and the Sunflora Crest in 14.0.5, and the Xen Tram Key in 14.0.2. If you stopped playing during a specific build, check whether the fix applies retroactively and requires you to load and re-save. The official notes say when it does.

How to Update Pokemon Rejuvenation

  1. Back up your save — copy the save folder somewhere outside the game directory. This is the official advice before every update.
  2. Run the in-game updater, or download the current package from the official Rejuvenation download page. The updater applies hotfixes without a full re-download.
  3. Do not merge a new version folder into an old one. The official V14 setup post is explicit about this — keep separate folders and move your save across.
  4. Check the patch notes for "do not load your save here" warnings before you resume. 14.0.18 shipped one for Darchlight Caves and Labs.

Full platform-by-platform instructions, including Android, ChromeOS Flex and EmuDeck, are on the Pokemon Rejuvenation download guide. For the current version summary rather than the patch history, see Pokemon Rejuvenation V14.

Pokemon Rejuvenation Patch FAQ

What is the latest Pokemon Rejuvenation patch?

v14.0.24, announced on . It removed Rock Climb from relearner movepools to close a Terajuma Island sequence break, corrected several Field Note entries, and stopped Ren's Pokemon from changing shininess or gender. Run the in-game updater to make sure you are on it.

How do I update Pokemon Rejuvenation to the latest patch?

Run the updater from inside the game, or download the current package from the official download page and keep it in its own folder rather than merging it into an older version's directory. Back up your save first — the official V14 setup post recommends it, and two patches in the V14 line had to fix saves that vanished during an update.

What does the patch number mean, and what is 14.0.6?

Rejuvenation uses V-major.major.patch, so 14.0.24 is Version 14, content branch 0, hotfix 24. 14.0.6 was the hotfix released on — it is not a separate release from V14, just an earlier build of it. Anything below 14.0.24 is an older hotfix of the same version.

Do I need to start a new save after a patch?

No. Hotfixes apply to existing saves; you keep playing where you left off. The exceptions are the patches that repaired damage already done — 14.0.9 restored the Paragon Chapter 16 completion flag for saves loaded in 14.0.7 or 14.0.8, and 14.0.5 restored item obtainability for older saves. Load the game and save once to pick those fixes up.

Where are the official Pokemon Rejuvenation patch notes posted?

Each patch is announced as its own post in r/PokemonRejuvenation, and the Rejuvenation team also posts to the official Reborn Evolved development blog for major releases. The download page carries the V14.0.0 patch notes. This page summarises the hotfix line; the announcement threads are the authoritative text.

Is V15 out yet, and when does it release?

No release date has been announced. Version 15 is confirmed as in development — a V15 preview was added at the end of the Paragon route in patch 14.0.10 — and V16 is slated as the final version of the game. Follow the official development blog for news.
